Retford care home hosts charity Cupcake Day

HC-One’s Barnby Court care home in Retford celebrated the Alzheimer’s Society’s National Cupcake Day on Thursday 14th June.

Staff kindly decorated the home with a variety of cupcake themed items and the chefs prepared a host of tasty treats for everyone to enjoy. 

Residents, staff and visitors purchased cakes and took part in activities including a ‘Guess How Many Cupcakes’ game. The money raised at Barnby Court will go towards helping Alzheimer’s Society find new treatments and ultimately discover a cure for dementia. 

A great day was had by all, with Resident’s commenting on how lovely it was to raise money for an amazing cause while eating such delicious cakes.
