Retail therapy takes a spooktacular twist at Chippenham care homeResidents at Avon Court care home in Chippenham were delighted to embark on a spooktacular retail therapy in preparation for Halloween.

Colleagues dressed in their best Halloween attire, including Beetlejuice, bats and witches, as they accompanied Residents Ln, Leila, Vera and Caroline on their shopping trip.

Once Residents returned from their retail therapy trip, they designed their pumpkins and got to work on hollowing them out before they were carved.

As they got to work on creating their pumpkins, Residents shared memories of Halloween when they were growing up.

The day was enjoyed by all, as Resident Pamela said: “What great fun we have all had.”
