Retail therapy is a success for Dukinfield care home ResidentsResidents at The Beeches care home in Dukinfield, Tameside enjoyed a morning of retail therapy ahead of the home’s Care Home Open Day event on 28th June 2019.

The trip saw Residents Jean and Catherine head out to the local shops with Sade, Wellbeing Coordinator at The Beeches, as Catherine bought some gifts for her great grandchildren.

Catherine said: “I have had a lovely morning shopping. My coffee was nice and it was nice to be able to do my own shopping.”

Jean added: “Even though I didn’t decide to buy anything today, I had a nice time being out.”

Sade commented: “It was lovely to take the Residents out for a bit of retail therapy. They really seemed to enjoy it, especially the delicious coffee at the end!”
