
Eddie is one of the Residents who is residing at
Grampian Court which offers residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia, his daughter Jane Anderson completed a self-challenge 50-mile bike ride over a week.
Jane was sponsored and donated £50 to the Residents fund and the money was used to buy new tools for the home’s garden such as a spade, fork, hedge trimmers, solar lights and chocolates for the staff.
The new tools are greatly appreciated and will be put to good use, and the home would also like to say a big thank you to Jane for thinking about them.
Staff comments of the day were "It was lovely to see the relatives of the Residents getting involved". The Residents also commented saying “How pretty the solar light looked on the trees” and "A very big thank you for the kind donation".
Emma Hume, Care Home Manager said, “June Peace was over the moon that we have new garden tools, and the tools will be used as our Residents are always in the garden”.
