Residents welcome new addition to Bridport care home gardenResidents and Colleagues at St James’ Park recently put their heads together to decide on a feature for the patio area of the home’s garden.

Everyone decided on making a scarecrow for Residents to look at around the grounds. To make their scarecrow, they used old clothes and buttons, and Residents helped to create the facial features, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Music played in the background as Residents were busy being creative and deciding on the features of the scarecrow, and they began sewing it together.

One Resident commented on how lovely they thought the scarecrow looked.

Helen Ganfield, Home Manager, remarked: “We are extremely proud of our achievement and look forward to making more to add to our lovely garden.”
