Brooklands care home in Grimsby was delighted to welcome Zoolab representative Enya and her weird and wonderful creatures to meet Residents in the home.
Residents were delighted to meet Ursula the bearded dragon, Gail the African snail, Milly the millipede, Sarah the chinchilla and Prince the snake.
Everyone enjoyed learning about the animals’ habitats, diets and lifespans, while some people even plucked up the courage to stroke and hold them!
One lady living at Brooklands was even joined by her daughter and granddaughter, who were delighted to be included in the day’s exciting activities.
One Resident commented: “I can’t believe how brave I was holding all of the animals, I am so proud of myself!”
