Residents triumph at care home bush tucker trialHC-One’s Victoria Gardens care home in Coventry hosted their very own bush tucker trial for staff and Residents on Wednesday 21st March.

Two Residents and four members of staff decided to take part in the homes bush tucker trial. Participants were blindfolded and given ten different samples of food, they had to guess what the food was using only their taste buds.

Visitors, staff and Residents enjoyed watching the participants trying to guess what each item of food was, Percy and Violet who are both Residents at Victoria Gardens have already volunteered for the next round.

Residents Romy and Sheila were the winners of the bush tucker trial, their prize was a lovely bottle of white wine to enjoy with their lunch.

Sharon, Wellbeing Coordinator at Victoria Gardens said:

“A great time was had by both viewers and participants, it was a very interactive event and some of the faces pulled during the trial made everyone laugh.”
