Residents test out new activities at Cramlington care homeResidents from HC-One’s Hartford Court care home in Cramlington sampled some new activity materials on Tuesday 2nd April.

The items included magnetic building bricks, writing boards, colour changing pens and modelling foam, all of which are supposed to provide an engaging sensory experience for the user. Residents took turns trying the different activities and provided their honest feedback on each item to the Wellbeing team.

Everyone had a great time testing out the different activities, some Residents commented on how it was empowering to be able to voice their thoughts on what activities they would enjoy and they are looking forward to seeing some new additions to the daily activities.

Hartford Court Home Manager, Janice Bell said: “It was lovely to see Residents concentrating on the different activities and giving their feedback. The comments from Residents always provide the best insight for the team to ensure they are providing a varied and engaging diary for every Resident at Hartford Court.”
