Residents at HC-One’s Aston House care home enjoyed cooking up a storm as they took part in creating various tasty treats and puddings.
As part of the home’s cooking club, Residents enjoy making a variety of food items, from cakes to savoury food, this time opting to create two different dessert items for all to enjoy – sliced bananas and home-made custard, and angel delight.
Residents each participated as some assisted with bananas and others helped with creating the different aspects of the custard, whilst others made the angel delight together.
Everyone enjoyed taking part in the exciting activity and they especially enjoyed tasting their creations at the end of the afternoon.
Seema Jose, Home Manager, commented: “a lovely afternoon was had by all, it’s a wonderful way to engage Residents in meaningful activities and for them to engage with others with the same interests.”
