Residents take a spin at bowling at Wigston care homeThere were strikes all round at Magna care home in Wigston as Residents took part in a ten-pin bowling competition.

Once the skittles were lined up, Residents took it in turns to bowl in an attempt to knock as many pins down as possible.

The competition saw Residents Mavis and Audrey battling it out to become bowling champion, with Mavis smiling from ear to ear as she scored multiple strikes throughout the match.

Audrey was determined to also get a strike before the end of the game, with Residents cheering for her as she achieved her first strike.

The game was a success with everyone at the home, as Mavis and Audrey are already looking forward to a re-match.

Home Manager Chipo Mupunga said: “It was so lovely to see the Residents supporting Mavis and Audrey and cheering them on to get a strike!”
