Wishes do come true for Residents at HC-One’s Sheraton Court in Hartlepool when Jenny Scott and Mary Keenan visited The Headland, where they were brought up and lived for most of their lives.
Both ladies wished to return to The Fish Sands in Old Hartlepool, where they used to take their families to play in the summer, just like they both did when they were young girls.
Mary and Jenny shared stories of their experiences growing up and enjoyed looking over the sands and seeing the pier together.
They were also joined by Margaret Leck and Olga Errington and loved telling them all about their time spent on the head over a cup of tea and a seaside sarnie.
Both Jenny and Mary had a great day, commenting:
“That was a smashing day, can we do it again?”
