Residents step back in time for 1920’s day at Lincoln care homeAltham Court care home in Lincoln travelled back to the 1920’s for an afternoon filled with entertainment for Residents and their loved ones.

Each month staff at Altham Court are turning back time to a different decade, with June’s choice being the ‘Roaring 20s’.

Much to Residents’ delight, staff dressed up as flappers and gangsters to truly get into the 1920’s spirit.

Entertainment from Music for Movement helped get everyone singing and clapping along, as music from the era was played. Ladies from the group Magic Movers also danced for the Residents.

The afternoon went down a storm, with the oldest Resident joining in being born in 1927.

One Resident said: “I really enjoyed going back to the 1920s, the music and fancy dress were fantastic.”
