Residents at HC-One’s Highfield Care Home in Yarm, Cleveland enjoy a reminiscent visit from Ashley at Reminiscence.
Reminiscence provide a service where Residents can view different scenes through virtual reality goggles.
They were able to view various scenes, including the seaside, parks or their local town in any part of the country. Residents had a fantastic time looking around the towns where they were born or where they grew up. They also enjoyed watched the Changing Guard at Buckingham Palace.
Ashley was really engaging with all of the Residents and made sure that everyone got to take part in the virtual reality experience, spending one on one time and getting to know everyone, impressing Gillian who commented:
“He was so kind and thoughtful!”
Everyone was amazed with the virtual reality googles, with one Resident moved to tears after she had a look and commenting on how wonderful it was.
