Residents at HC-One’s Croft Avenue Care Home in Penrith, Cumbria, were delighted to be invited to the Wordsworth Street Methodist Carol Service on Sunday.
The carol service is always a very busy, high profile event, so Maggie Magney, Margaret Wilcox, Peter Denby, Beryl Sutton, Shane Jarmin, Doris Lancaster, Rose Lander and Olive Rutherford were overwhelmed to see that the front row had been reserved for them; they also received a special thank you for attending.
The local Lions group very kindly and helpfully provided everyone with transport to and from the event.
