Residents receive VIP treatment at Alloa Athletic F.C matchResidents from HC-One’s The Orchard care home in Alloa received VIP treatment at the Recreation Park Alloa on Saturday 22nd December at the Alloa Athletic v Queen of the South match.

Alloa Athletic F.C Hospitality Manager, Billy, reached out to The Orchard to extend an invitation to their upcoming game, the invite included exclusive use of the Dumyat Lounge with complimentary drinks and a buffet lunch before kick-off and more refreshments during half time.

Four Residents attended the match, one Resident Tommy was accompanied by his son, Scott, who are both Alloa Athletic fans and used be regular visitors to their home games. In recent years, Tommy’s health has stopped him from attending matches with his son, so this visit was extra special for both father and son.

It was a great day from start to finish, Alloa Athletic won the match 2 – 0 and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to attend a local match again. One Resident Hugh commented that it was a great day with a great result and he would like to visit again on a regular basis.

Tommy and Scott both enjoyed spending some quality time together and seeing lots of familiar faces from when they were both regulars at home games.

Fiona Johnstone, Home Manager at The Orchard said:

“On behalf of The Orchard I would like to thank Alloa Athletic F.C for their hospitality and kindness, attending the match was such a special day for our Residents who are all hoping to visit again in the near future.”
