HC-One’s Melbury Court Care Home in Durham, County Durham have received a delicious donation from New College Durham.
New College Durham had their graduation day earlier in July and to mark the occasion Edward Jackson, Le Nouveau Restaurant and catering manager at the college, made a fantastic cake.
After the graduation ceremony, the cake was donated to Melbury Court by Dawn Fairlamb, Vice President of the college for the Residents to all enjoy with a lovely cuppa.
The Residents all thought that it was a really nice thing for the college to do, commenting:
“We were so thrilled to receive the cake and enjoyed eating it even more!”
