Residents raise money for Children in NeedResidents and the team at HC-One’s Park House Care Home in Guisborough, Redcar and Cleveland, have been busy raising money today for Children in Need.

When the Residents asked if they could do something for Children in Need, the team at Park House immediately got to planning.

The staff all dressed in Pudsey t-shirts, pyjamas or a onesie and donated money for the non-uniform day. The kitchen created Pudsey-themed cupcakes and biscuits which were sold and a raffle was also held to raise money.

Friendship dog Poppy from Wag & Co also joined in, helping to raise money by wearing her Pudsey bear ears with owner Andy.

The Residents all commented on how they enjoyed doing something so worthwhile and helping to sell the cupcakes and biscuits; especially as the whole event was their idea.

Altogether, an amazing £105 was raised for Children in Need.

Len commented:

“I love getting involved for this great cause and raising money for a great cause, and I especially like tasting these cupcakes!”
