This year Resident’s at Park House have once again excelled themselves by preparing and putting together the annual Easter raffle.
The staff team provided the eggs and toys, which the Residents then lovingly wrapped. They really enjoyed decorating them with ribbons and bows and proudly lay them out on the table for the Raffle.
The Residents really enjoy this activity and it makes them really happy to see the colourful end result, knowing that they still have skills to contribute.
Elsie, one of the Residents, made everyone laugh when she chose to put Peter Rabbit with an egg and just before she went to wrap him up; she looked right at him and said:
“Now then Peter, I am going to wrap you up now.”
The Residents commented that that was their favourite part of the day as it really made them laugh as well as achieving such a good Easter raffle.
Alishia Calvert, Park House’s Home Manager, commented:
“The Resident’s did such a great job, I’m so proud of their efforts and it’s lovely to see how happy it’s made them.”
