Three Residents from HC-One’s Ashington Grange Care Home in Ashington, Northumberland, enjoyed a fabulous day out at Azures Garden Centre.
Residents Edna Whittaker, Cecil Mosey and Jack Winn got into the festive spirit on their visit, browsing the Christmas decorations and they even managed to meet some Reindeer, which they were thrilled to be able to pet.
On the return to the home, they requested a large Christmas tree and some real Reindeer at Ashington Grange.
Edna commented:
“I have really enjoyed my day, seeing the Reindeers was amazing.”
Lisa Knight, Relief Manager at Ashington Grange, commented:
“I am overjoyed that the Residents had a fabulous day, but the challenge of producing some Reindeer is proving difficult.”
Azures Garden Centre is a firm favourite with the Residents and they look forward to visiting with the change of each season.
