The Willows in Leicestershire, which offers residential and residential memory care, Colleagues took some Residents out for lunch in a local restaurant that overlooked the canal.
Residents enjoyed lunch with a view and enjoyed watching the boats go by. Each Resident ordered their own food and drink and really thought about what they would like, with most getting the classic fish and chips or egg, sausage and chips. Everybody was amazed at the size of the plates when the food came out!
Afterwards the Residents expressed how much they enjoyed themselves and wanted to do it again, one Resident said, “These chips are absolutely lovely!”
Anna, the Home Manager said that “It was nice for the Residents to get out and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, I wish I had joined them!”
