Residents at HC-One’s Claremont care home in Ayr are enjoying weekly Italian lessons with Allie from Lingo Flamingo.
The sessions include visual aids and well known music, which are all specially designed to help teach people how speak, read and write in Italian. Residents at Claremont are loving trying out a new language and are practising what they have learnt between sessions.
One Resident, Irene said that the classes bring back happy memories from when she visited Italy and Violet commented that she already knows a lot of French so learning some Italian is really enjoyable.
One visitor commented: “I was delighted to receive an invitation to visit Claremont, I have really enjoyed spending time with all of the lovely Residents here.”
