Residents joined by family and friends for delicious Highfield coffee morningResidents at Highfield care home in Yarm were delighted to welcome family and friends to the home to be treated to a delicious selection of homemade cakes and biscuits at the home’s coffee morning.

Amongst the guests was the family of brothers Clifford, Ron and Maurice Tate, who all became Residents at the home after Clifford expressed his delight at the care he had received from the team at Highfield.

Everyone sat down together to have a catch up over scones, cakes, biscuits, tea and coffee.

Enid Waites, a Resident at Highfield, commented: “It is lovely when my daughter Debbie comes to visit as she sits with me and the friends I have made. We always enjoy the coffee mornings together.”

Carolyn O’Lone, Home Manager, said: “Gill always organises a fantastic coffee morning in the home and provides the best home-made treats. You can always tell they have gone down well by the smile on our Resident’s faces.”
