Residents join together for friendship lunch at Swallownest care homeFriendship was celebrated at Swallownest care home as Residents joined together for a lovely afternoon at Sir Jack’s family pub.

Everyone tucked into a delicious carvery followed by a refreshing ice cream, before enjoying entertainment from a local performer in the pub.

Residents enjoyed singing along to the music, as well as chatting to each other about how much they enjoyed their meals.

Freda, a Resident at Swallownest, said: “I have had such a wonderful time, I didn’t want to go home!”

Amanda Fields, Home Manager, said: “The friendship lunch went down a treat. Our Residents returned to the home full of chatter and excitement. These afternoons are a great way of bringing people together.”
