Residents help Deputy Manager prepare for her upcoming arrivalResidents and the team at HC-One’s Tenlands Care Home in Ferryhill, County Durham, helped Deputy Manager Andrea Palmer celebrate her upcoming arrival by holding a baby shower.

Everyone decorated the dining room with banners, hanging decorations and balloons to mark the occasion. Chef, Glynis Redfearn, had been busy in the kitchen before the event preparing the beautiful cake for the baby shower.

Tea and cake were laid out for all to enjoy before Andrea was presented with gifts for her baby, which will be her first born.

A great day was had by all, everyone wished Andrea all the very best and can’t wait to meet the new bundle of joy.

Joyce Cooke commented:

“I’ll really miss Andrea, she is wonderful!”

Tommy Wilson commented:

“It’s my first ever baby shower, we never had them in my day. Andrea is so lovely and kind.”

Victoria Leighton, Home Manager at Tenlands, commented:

“We would like to wish Andrea and her family the very best of luck with the new arrival!”
