Residents have their say on the kind care team at Sutton-in-Ashfield care homeStoneyford care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, have made an effort to involve Residents in the interview process for the kind care team.

Resident Iris volunteered to help out HC-One Colleagues for interviewing a new recruit to Stoneyford’s kind care team, as she proved a valuable addition to the panel.

Iris represented all of the Colleagues at Stoneyford, as she collated and put forward questions that they would like to be asked.

Iris thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the interview process, saying: “I've really enjoyed it. I felt part of the process and that makes me feel involved and like my opinions really matter."

Keeley Morris, Home Manager at Stoneyford, added: “It’s very important to have everyone involved, especially our Residents, in all aspects of the day to day running of Stoneyford.

“Feeling empowered and being part of a team is important to the wellbeing to our Residents and something that we are committed to at HC-One.”
