Residents have a hoot as feathered friends visit Grimsby care homeClarendon Hall care home in Grimsby was delighted to treat Residents to a fun-filled afternoon as two feathered friends paid a flying visit.

Everyone was delighted to meet Billy the South African eagle owl and Treacle the barn owl, with many in awe of the amazing birds of prey.

Residents had great joy in stroking Treacle’s soft feathers, as well as witnessing the great wingspan of Billy.

Ann, a Resident at Clarendon Hall, said: “I really enjoyed that! Treacle is so very soft.”

A fellow Resident added: “It was brilliant to be able to meet Treacle and Billy. I really hope they can come and visit us again.”
