HC-One’s Redesdale Court Care Home in North Shields, Tyne and Wear have had an action packed week, getting ready for the football and flower arranging.
Yesterday, ahead of the game, Residents and staff were getting in the spirit of the impending England vs Croatia game. The face paints were being applied and the flags were out in full force.
Despite England’s loss and departure from the World Cup, everyone was so proud of how far the team have gone.
Residents have also been embracing their creative side this week with a spot of vintage flower arranging in beautiful tea cups, followed by a flower quiz, where they had the opportunity to show off their in depth knowledge on this subject.
A great time was had by all, Resident Irene Campbell commented:
