Residents have a ball during games afternoon at Grimsby care homeResidents at Brooklands care home in Grimsby had a ball as they enjoyed a game of balloon volleyball.

The activity, which aims to promote hand-eye coordination and physical activity amongst older people, saw Residents teaming up to score points and become champions of the match.

The home was filled with laughter as Residents passed the ball to one another, while listening to popular 50s and 60s tracks in the background.

Once the points were tallied up and the champions were crowned, everyone enjoyed a selection of hot and cold beverages with biscuits.

Residents loved the activity, with one person saying: “I really enjoyed that! There’s nothing better than a bit of healthy competition.”
