Residents at Park House care home in Guisborough – part of HC-One, the kind care company – enjoyed a special card making craft session on Monday 12th August.
The group spent time thinking about and discussing different card designs, one Resident, Winner Barker decided to create a personalised wedding anniversary card for her sister, Connie and brother-in-law, George, the beautiful card was decorated with champagne bottles and lowers.
Two other Residents, Kate and Ivy, thought it would be nice to make a special wedding card for Park House’s Maintenance Operative, Stuart, who is getting married on Saturday 24th August. Stuart was touched by the ladies kind gesture and thanked them both for the beautiful card, which the newlyweds will cherish forever.
Julie Woods, Home Manager at Park House said: “The handmade cards are such a lovely gesture and are provide the perfect opportunity for Residents to explore their creative side.”
