Residents at HC-One’s Cold Springs Park Care Home in Penrith enjoyed an entertaining afternoon from Max Slater and the Ukulele 4 Fun group.
The group dressed up in black and red attire with hats to match were joined by Laura Sharky from Morecombe and played familiar songs from the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s with ukuleles and harmonicas.
Max played the organ along to the music in the background.
Everyone loved playing with the props, waving their pom poms and singing along to the music.
Refreshments were served in-between the performance, where Residents had a good chat with the entertainers.
Resident Kath Slater commented:
“It was great, colourful too, and I’ve never seen a ukulele before.”
