Residents from HC-One’s Eastbourne House Care Home in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear enjoyed a trip to The Baltic Centre on the Quayside; somewhere three of them have never been before.
Celia, Norma, Mary, Len, Connie, Sylvia, Eric and Irene thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were lucky enough to discover that the Exhibition of the North had organised a performance with street performers and a water/bridge display that day.
Everyone enjoyed refreshments at the café in The Baltic centre where they had a great time viewing the art galleries before visiting the view box, which looked out on the Tyne, the Newcastle College Art Unit and the local schools art corner.
