Valentine’s Day has been full of festivities this year for the Residents at HC-One’s Ash Grange care home in Bloxwich, West Midlands.
Residents spent the morning opening their beautiful gifts and cards, both from the home and their partners and families. They read out their sweet messages and chatted and laughed with one another about their fondest romantic memories.
One Resident commented: “Thank you for thinking of us. It was really thoughtful and it’s made my day!”
Residents continued to talk through to the afternoon, discussing their first love, favourite romantic gestures, first dates and their wedding days.
They enjoyed a sweet treat when Colleagues made special hot chocolates for them, topped with whipped cream and marshmallows, to warm them up on this cold Valentine’s Day.
