The Beeches care home in Tameside has been preparing for Valentine’s Day early with an afternoon filled with fun crafts for Residents to enjoy.
Each Resident painted a heart for the Valentine’s display in the home, with everyone thinking of a special poem to be printed on the back of their designs.
Residents Mary and Audrey particularly enjoyed the craft session, as they shared memories of their weddings, which both took place on Valentine’s Day.
One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed making my heart for Valentine’s Day, it brought back such lovely memories.”
Louise Clifford, Home Manager at The Beeches, said: “Residents loved getting involved in our Valentine’s Day craft session, and our display of hearts looks absolutely amazing in the home.”
