Residents at Millbrook care home in Stalybridge enjoyed a trip to the flicks as the home showcased musical hit The Greatest Showman in the cinema room.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cinematic experience, as Millbrook offers comfy chairs, a large 65” TV, a surround sound system and cinema-themed memorabilia for a finishing touch.
After Residents sang along to the catchy soundtrack, including hits The Greatest Show and Come Alive, they enjoyed a selection of sweet treats and refreshments during the interval.
Millbrook’s cinema room is a great success with Residents, as it shows a variety of new releases and classics as requested by those living in the home.
One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed the story and the happy ending. The interval reminded me of when I went to see films at the theatre. It’s lovely to know that we have our very own cinema room.”
