Residents enjoy the king of rock and rollResidents at HC-One’s Roseberry Court in Redcar enjoyed time out at Coatham Memorial Hall listening to an Elvis Presley tribute show together with the communities generations.

Everyone had a great time singing along to the different Elvis Presley tribute songs and enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch. Residents were also treated to a bingo, where, to her absolute delight, May Clarkson won a box of Malteser’s, commenting:

“I can’t believe I’ve actually won, I never win! I’ll have to share these amongst all of my friends and tell them I actually won these.”

The occasion even managed to bring together two of our Residents with friends they hadn’t seen in ages. Resident Marjorie Roberts bumped into an old friend that she used to play golf with and Brenda Duckworth bumped into an old friend who she hadn’t seen for ages.

Upon leaving the show, everyone commented on what a great time they had and especially loved the Elvis tribute. The day brought huge smiles to everyone’s faces and gave them lots to talk about.

Roseberry Court’s Home Manager, Alison Corner commented:

“This day is all about getting all the different generations together to enjoy themselves. We do our best to get our Residents out into our local community to see old friends and meet new ones.”
