Residents enjoy the fresh air and wildlife at Hardwick HallDerek Unthank, Martin Hall, Ted Beadle and John Hyland, Residents at HC-One’s Jack Dormand Care Home in Peterlee, enjoyed a day out to Hardwick Hall at Sedgefield last week.

The gentlemen made the most of the sunshine by walking around the park and really enjoyed the scenery and the fresh air, as well as seeing all the wildlife; feeding the ducks, looking at the swans and stroking a variety of different dogs.

Afterwards, everyone took a trip into Sedgefield to the Dunn Cow Inn for lunch and a pint, where the men enjoyed either gammon steak or a cottage pie with all the trimmings.

John commented:

“It has been such a good day and it’s been great to get out in the fresh air, I am so grateful.”
