Residents at HC-One’s Grosvenor Parl recently enjoyed an afternoon of pampering as they experienced various spa treatments.
Both the male and female Residents of the home found the afternoon extremely relaxing as they received facials, manicures and hand massages, with some Residents finding the sheet facial masks particularly amusing.
The ladies especially enjoyed getting their nails done as they could choose from a selection of colours that they felt would suit them. Some Residents even commented on how it made them think of when they were younger and would get ready for a night in the town.
After the treatements, everyone enjoyed a delicious homemade cake and a warm drink as they relaxed and chatted with each other about their favourite thing about being pampered.
Jackie O'Callaghan, Home Manager, commented: “Residents really enjoy spa afternoons. We will be making it a regular occurrence as they enjoy getting together to do this.”
