Residents enjoy quality family time in Victoria Mews’ new reminiscence areaThe introduction of a new Reminiscence Area at Victoria Mews care home in Coventry has already proven a success with Residents as they welcome friends and family to the home.

The new area, which features beautiful, 40s-inspired decoration, is a tranquil space where Residents can reminisce in a peaceful environment.

The family of Resident Denise was particularly impressed by the initiative following a recent visit, where they enjoyed dominoes over a pot of coffee in the Reminiscence Area.

Denise’s daughter commented: “It’s such a lovely and calm area to spend time with mum and it also helps to give us ideas of what we can talk about.”

Michael David, Home Manager at Victoria Mews, said: “We have received really positive area about the Reminiscence Area from Residents and Relatives alike. It’s wonderful to see our Residents using the new break out area for quality time with their loved ones.”
