Residents enjoy musical morning at Roseberry CourtResidents at Roseberry Court care home in Cleveland enjoyed a morning of Musical Therapy at the home.

Everyone got to choose their own percussion instrument, which ranged from tambourines to maracas, to fill Roseberry Court with wonderful music.

The Residents had great fun singing and dancing along to the different sounds.

Marjorie was named the best and loudest singer, with Sylvia being voted best dancer and June the best instrument player.

Following the performance, everyone enjoyed refreshments and cakes.

Sylvia, a Resident at the home, said: “I didn’t know I had so much energy! I’ve really enjoyed the dancing.”

June commented: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this activity. I haven’t laughed so much in ages.”

Alison Corner, Home Manager at Roseberry Court, said: “Everyone loved the music therapy session. All we could hear was laughter coming from the group, which was absolutely lovely.”
