Residents enjoy Knit and Natter at Sheraton CourtResidents at Sheraton Court care home in Hartlepool channelled their inner creativity as they enjoyed a Knit and Natter session together.

During the session, Residents discussed how they were taught to knit by their parents and at school.

They used their talents to produce some lovely knitwear. Audrey Nixon has been knitting squares to make a blanket and has also started knitting a baby cardigan.

Beginners to knitting were encouraged to join the group by making different coloured pompoms.

One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed joining in with the knitting group. It was lovely to see what everyone else was making and to share techniques.”

Natasha Mason, Home Manager at Sheraton Court, said: “The Knit and Natter group is a great success at Sheraton Court. The lounge was filled with laughter and chatter as the Residents showed off their knitting abilities.”
