Residents enjoy gardening at Bexhill care homeResidents at HC-One’s Grosvenor Park care home enjoyed an afternoon of gardening recently as they decided to plant some flowers.

Everyone helped as they planted pots of beautifully coloured flowers around the entrance to the home, showing the lovely red, pink and yellow colours for visitors to admire.

After arranging the flowers, everyone enjoyed a well-earned rest as they came inside for tea, cake and a chat in the lounge. They reflected on the afternoon and discussed their favourite parts about the day.

Residents enjoyed the gardening afternoon so much that they have already planned the next one for everyone to get involved in.

Jackie O’Callaghan, Home Manager, commented: “It’s lovely to see Residents getting so involved in the gardening activities, and we look forward to the next one. They have really enjoyed themselves and the flowers look beautiful.”
