Residents enjoy fun filled week at ChaseviewThe Residents at HC-One’s Chaseview in Burntwood have had a busy week with lots of exciting things happening in the home.

Chaseview kicked off their week of fun on Monday with their regular chair exercise group with Rich. The Residents commented that it makes them feel good and they enjoy the group interaction.

Audrey and Ron were the star pupils of the week and Audrey said that the exercise makes her muscles work.

On Tuesday, children from the local primary school Springhill visited the Chaseview, they brought a lovely Valentine’s card and sang for the Residents. Some of the Residents decided to return the favour and sing for the children, which brought lots of smiles and laughter.

Gillian, a Resident at Chaseview said:

“It’s like a breath of fresh air when the children come to visit, it takes me back to when my children were young.”

Valentine’s Day was also celebrated at Chaseview with all the lovely couples receiving flowers, chocolates and a card. Love was certainly in the air for Rosamund and John, who are both Residents at Chaseview, with John commenting that he loves her just as much today as he did the day they met.

Chaseview is dedicated to the wellbeing of residents and encourages the participation of hobbies and interests, taking an active role in helping individuals to retain a connection to the local community.
