Residents at HC-One’s Ashington Grange Care Home in Ashington, Northumberland, enjoyed an activity day out in conjunction with Mind Active.
Mind Active is a local charity, which is funded by a lottery grant and aims to improve the lives of older people living in residential care homes through supporting local volunteers.
A two course lunch was provided for the Residents along with entertainment, a free raffle and a quiz followed by a hot beverage and a slice of cake.
Residents got a lot of pleasure from this activity day out and loved the entertainment that was provided; they had a great time dancing the afternoon away, commenting:
“I have had a great time at the Tea Dance.”
