Residents enjoy a visit to the local garden centreHC-One’s St Clare’s Court in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham had a fantastic trip to the local garden centre this week, where the Residents enjoyed looking around for ideas for their Garden Club.

The Residents enjoyed a bus trip to Wyevale garden centre, looking for ideas on where to get started for their Residents Garden Club.

All the brainstorming resulted in the Residents, Celia, Betty, Jean, Beatrice, Linda and John, enjoying a well-earned lunch break, before looking around the shop.

Everyone had a great time, commenting:

“It was lovely to have a change of scenery and we enjoyed talking about some fond memories of visiting this particular garden centre with our familes previously.”

St Clare’s Home Manager, Jason Parkinson commented:

“It was lovely seeing the Residents doing something they would have done in their day to day lives at home. It was great to see them pottering around, looking at all of the plants available and discussing their gardens at home.”
