Residents enjoy a visit to Newby Hall and GardensHC-One’s Grosvenor House Care Home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire enjoyed a great day out to Newby Hall and Gardens near Ripon.

The weather was absolutely perfect for their outing and the team at Grosvenor House were able to take a picnic for the Residents to enjoy.

Residents Edna Sykes, Brenda Underwood and Janet Bishop enjoyed looking around the beautiful gardens before visiting the teddy bear display, which housed some original celebrity bears that the Residents recognised, such as Mr Beans bear, Nookie bear and Barbara Cartlands bear.

Everyone had a lovely and relaxing day out, with Brenda commenting:

“It has been such a lovely day with plenty of fresh air.”

Lezlee Leahy, Wellbeing Co-Ordinator at Grosvenor House, commented:

“We couldn’t have asked for better weather, there were plenty of smiles and laughter and the Residents really enjoyed seeing a group of school children enjoy themselves whilst they ate their picnic.”
