Residents at HC-One’s St Clare’s Court in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, enjoy a trip to the local ice cream parlour, Archers Jersey Ice Cream at New Moor Farm.
St Clare’s Court made two trips to Archers, the ground floor taking the trip in the morning before the Residents from the first floor enjoying their visit after lunch.
Everyone had a great time; it was a bright sunny day so was the perfect time to have ice cream. They also met Archers very own cows on their trips.
Residents enjoyed looking at all of the different colours and flavours and reminiscing about when they used to visit the ice cream shop with their families, commenting:
“It was so lovely to enjoy such delicious ice cream on a sunny day.”
