Residents enjoy a traditional games afternoon at Goole care homeResidents at Windsor Court care home in Goole got into the competitive spirit for a traditional games afternoon.

Everyone experienced a blast from the past as they took part in a giant game of noughts and crosses, with Residents thinking up their best tactics to try to win the game.

The game was a great success, with Residents also taking part in competitions of Tetris, darts, snakes and ladders and hangman.

The games have been introduced as part of the home’s Stop the Clock sessions; a HC-One initiative that sees Colleagues from all departments taking 15 minutes to join in with Resident activities.

One Resident commented: “That as really good fun, I loved noughts and crosses when I was little.”
