Residents enjoy a rootin’ tootin’ cowboy day at Oldbury care homeResidents embraced their inner John Wayne and Calamity Jane today as HC-One’s Warrens Hall care home in Tividale was transformed into a country saloon.

Suzi, a Colleague at the home, dressed up and sang country songs while Residents sang and danced along wearing their cowboy hats.

Some Residents even strummed out a tune on the guitar.

One Residents commented: “I enjoy country days. The music makes everyone happy.

“I’ve always wanted to be able to play the guitar and it’s never too late.”

The singalong was held in the home’s two lounges so that everyone at the home could have the opportunity to join in while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies and cakes.

Warrens Hall Home Manager, Kalmit Jagpal, said: “Another fantastic performance from Suzi today, well done.

“Everyone had such a lovely time and those hot chocolate are so delicious.”
