Residents at HC-One’s Acomb Court Care Home in Hexham, Northumberland, decided that they would like to have a knit and natter morning at the home.
Dorothy Todd, Jean A, Doreen B, Nancy C, William C, Erik K and David H all participated and whilst the ladies knitted, the men enjoyed a good chat together.
Everyone took part in a discussion about how children used to learn to knit and sow and how things have changed over the years, which proved to be a really interesting conversation.
All of the Residents had a great time and all agreed that they would love to do another session soon, commenting:
“It was nice to talk about how it used to be.”
