Residents, Janet Bishop and Edna Sykes, from Grosvenor House Care Home in Harrogate enjoyed a day trip out in the beautiful autumn sunshine to Ripon and around the Deer Park at Fountain’s Abbey.
They then went to Pateley Bridge where they stopped for an ice cream at G&T’s Ice Cream Parlour for a delicious ice cream, which are all made on the premises. Both Janet and Edna commented:
“It’s so lovely to get out and about, the countryside is so beautiful and we have never tasted ice cream better than from G&T’s!”
Earlier in the month, singer Emma James paid the Residents at Grosvenor House a visit, where they enjoyed an afternoon of singing.
Resident Janet Bishop commented:
“We always enjoy it when Emma comes to sing for us and we always join in!”
Grosvenor House’s Home Manager, Sue Nutter commented:
“Emma is a regular singer at Grosvenor House and is loved by all of the Residents and staff.
She always wears beautiful outfits and involves the Residents in the singing and dancing.”
